【When there is an injury】

●Put a cloth on the area that is bleeding and apply pressure with the fingers or hand for about 10 minutes.

●If possible, place the injured area higher than the heart.

●If bleeding stops, or if there is little bleeding, wash the wound thoroughly with tap water (for about 10 minutes) until the dirt is removed.

●The use of a disinfectant is not recommended.

●If the wound is deep, bleeding does not stop, numbness or pain does not stop, the wound has not been washed sufficiently, or the pain increases in a few days, visit a medical institution for consultation.

【If there is a burn】

●If the affected area is hot, place the area under cold running water

●Once the heat is removed, cooling is not necessary. Undergo an examination at a medical institution. However, if a wide area is affected, do not cool the body. (It may lead to a drop in body temperature especially in children.)

●Keep the affected area covered with a clean cloth until visiting a medical institution for consultation.

●If the blister has not burst, keep it in a preserved state until visiting a medical institution for consultation. (It would be good to cover it with plastic wrap to protect the affected area.)

●If the blister has burst, cover the affected area with plastic wrap to protect it.
