"Throat is sore", "Throat feels strange", "Difficulty in swallowing", etc.

Has previously had either rheumatic fever or heart valve disease (valvular disease)
There is a rash somewhere on the skin
Tonsils are swelling or red
Sore throat has lasted for 3 days or longer
Has an earache
The breath smells worse than usual. There is a foul odor
Recently (the past 2 weeks), there was a person with similar symptoms
None of the above are applicable.
